It’s okay to be exhausted.

Recently, I’ve been feeling that a major part of my days is dedicated to just hanging on. And that alone takes up a lot of energy. I feel exhausted.

Today my grandma celebrated her 78th birthday, and our plans to carefully have lunch with my uncle and aunt had to be canceled because my stepfather was feverish yesterday.

He hasn’t been here since it all started, but my mom happened to stop by a couple of days ago, and we all got worried about the slight possibility of having the virus in our family — the same family that has been making light of the danger of the situation for a long time.

I’m exhausted to have to repeat the obvious over and over again. I’m exhausted from worrying too much all the time. I’m exhausted to be frustrated all the time. And, above it all, I’m exhausted from all the mess that has been going on in Brazil.

I have no energy for a new post today — I’m sorry. I’m just exhausted.
